Musgrave Group is Irelands largest grocery distributor. The company operates an islandwide distribution and support network for independent supermarket owners and franchises the stores which hold 24 per cent of the grocery market in the Republic and 10 per cent of the market in Northern Ireland; a 20 per cent market share of the island overall.
Tower Interactive have built a state of the art web based ordering solution for Musgrave which is a benchmark project in the progress of web based retail in Europe.
Cash and carry customers can maintain multiple shopping lists on the site. They can then place an order just by selecting the specific list. Examples would include "My monthly order", "My weekly topup order" etc.
Musgrave have the ability to pre-populate the customer account with lists based on known purchasing patterns for that customer. They can also publish additional useful lists to take account of seasonal events.
